What was the main reason you initially sought out care?
We first started here for my older son, Dylan. I was at my wit’s end trying to figure out his constipation issues and read online somewhere that chiropractic can help with constipation, so we gave it a try. So far, it’s working. Then Dr. Kara convinced me to continue coming because I used to get headaches every single day and thought that it was just normal—just another part of life with a stressful job and two little boys. That’s why we came, and now the whole family comes.
How has chiropractic care improved your overall well-being?
We definitely noticed a difference in both of the kids, and my headaches are now gone, which makes us keep coming back. Now, with a third baby on the way, it’s definitely helping it be the easiest pregnancy I’ve had so far. We love Dr. Kara.
What advice would you give to someone considering chiropractic care for the first time?
It’s not what you think. It’s not what I thought. Growing up, my mom would go to the chiropractor because she had tennis injuries and things of that nature. It’s more about well-being than it is about a specific injury, and it’s not scary.
How would you describe the atmosphere and environment?
Dr. Kara is always full of energy and happy every time we come. The boys love to come and love the atmosphere of the office, and love to get their stickers and lollipops every time that they come. It’s very relaxed and calming.
What is your favorite thing about visiting Hand in Hand Chiropractic?
We love it. We love coming here. It’s helped every single person in our family with little to big issues that we’re dealing with. It’s definitely improved us overall.
