Why did you initially seek chiropractic care?
I met Dr. Kara a little over a year ago. We went to talk to her because I had a recent back injury and was being diagnosed with a severe disc rupture in my spine. I was pretty curious about back care at the time. It had affected my work.
In chatting with her, I learned about the care that could help me prepare for my upcoming surgery. I came for a consultation, and she spent a lot of time with me. It quickly became clear that an additional component of care would have helped me prepare for surgery and have a better outcome. She is very knowledgeable about all things back, so we talked about disc issues and mobility.
We had some care prior to surgery, and after surgery she helped me with recovery. Post-surgery was probably the most impactful part that helped me with recovery. It turned around my expectations of what I was going to be able to do. The surgery was very successful. Her care had a tremendous amount of recovery and a different level of health.
Overall my back, in the past year, I’ve been able to go back to full activity—even higher levels of activity than I had before. Her recurring care with me is critical. It’s been very critical to my recovery and has improved my health, especially around my work. I couldn’t thank her enough.
